이 논문은 RFID기술을 바탕으로 물품의 정확한 수량 확인을 위한 기법을 제시한다. RFID 태그를 물품에 부착시키고 RFID 리더, 미들웨어를 사용한 실시간 정확하고 신속한 개수 확인을 위한 기법에 대한 연구를 실시하였다. 태그가 부착된 물품이 리더의 영역에 도달하게 되며, 리더에 의해 읽혀진 정보가 미들웨어로 전달된다. 이에 미들웨어는 태그의 개수를 파악하여 사용자에게 제공을 할 수 있다. 하지만, 기존에 제안된 RFID미들웨어의 경우 실시간으로 정확한 물품의 개수 파악에 대한 시간 기반의 결과 제공만을 지원함에 따라 보다 정확한 개수 파악에 대한 한계점을 나타내었다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 기존 미들웨어의 시간 기반 결과 제공기법의 한계점을 실험을 통해 확인하고, 그러한 한계점을 극복할 수 있는 새로운 실시간 수량 파악에 대한 기법에 대해 제안한다. 또한, 실시간 수량 파악의 새로운 기법을 통해 물류 처리시 발생할 수 있는 시간 지연 및 비용 증가 등에 대한 한계점의 해결책으로 제안한다.

(English Abstract) |
This paper suggests a RFID technology based method to inspect the exact quantity of products. This method accurately and rapidly inspects the quantity of products in real-time using RFID tags, readers and Middleware. When the tagged products arrive in the area of RFID reader, the information read by the reader is delivered to the RFID Middleware. And the Middleware can provide quantity of observed tags to user. However, the EPCglobal proposed RFID Middleware only can provide the quantity of tags which is time based processing in real-time. It shows the limitations for the inspection of the exact products quantity. Therefore, this paper suggests data based quantity inspection technology. It overcomes logistics processing time delays and cost increasing problems. In addition, a lot of experiments are executed in order to verify our proposed approach. The results show that our proposed new method overcomes the limitation of the existing quantity inspection technology.
